Roboboat Competition 2018
Event Description
WHAT IS ROBOBOAT?
Student teams design autonomous, robotic boats to navigate and race through an aquatic obstacle course. The behaviors demonstrated by these boats mimic tasks that are being developed for coastal surveillance, port security and other types of oceanographic operations.
We will hold a community event on Saturday, June 23, time is TBA. We will have lots of fun things to do for adults and kids including blow up water slides, food, STEM challenges, rock painting, and more. Also, the Roboboat competition qualifying round will be held in the lake at Reed Canal Park throughout the day. Enter at the north entrance of the lake at 2871 South Nova Road. This event is FREE to the public.
