To engage the community and gather valuable input, the Volusia County Community Assistance Division has scheduled a public discussion on the draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the 2022-23 fiscal year at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 11, in the county council chambers at the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center located at 123 W. Indiana Avenue in DeLand. Residents are invited to attend the discussion and actively participate in developing the final report.
The draft CAPER, now available for review at www.volusia.org/reports, provides a comprehensive overview of the County’s activities, accomplishments, and expenditures for the 2022-23 period, focusing mainly on the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and Emergency Solutions Grant.
For those unable to attend in person, a registration link is conveniently posted on the website for virtual attendance. Additionally, residents can contribute their comments on the draft report by contacting Eva Colee at ecolee@volusia.org or by calling 386-736-5955, ext. 15593, on or before December 15. All relevant comments received will be thoughtfully considered and integrated into the final report, slated for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development by December 29.
