Assisted Living at Bishop's Glen Retirement Community is designed to permit maximum independence and dignity for those who need a little assistance in everyday life. 

Amenities & Health Services Provided in Assisted Living:

   • Spacious one, two, or three bedroom apartments
   • 24-hour supervision by licensed nurses
   • 24-hour staffing by nursing assistants
   • Assistance as needed with bathing and dressing
   • Medication assistance and/or administered and reordered by our staff
   • Monitored emergency alert system 
   • Three delicious well balanced meals and snacks provided daily
   • Interior and exterior maintenance
   • Housekeeping and personal laundry services provided weekly
   • Utilities included: electric, water, and cable TV
   • Individual heating and air conditioning controls
   • Planned activities, trips, and programs
   • Scheduled transportation available for shopping and doctor appointments

Extended Congregate Care (ECC)

ECC is a higher level of assisted living not offered by many communities.  In addition to the amenities provided in Assisted Living, ECC provides a higher level of assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation, and toileting.  Medical procedures such as advanced diabetic care, ostomy care, amputation/fracture care, preventative and palliative skin care, and TED hose care are available when ordered by a physician and permitted by state regulations.
