FREE Admission for Kids

The Museum of Arts & Sciences in Daytona Beach is offering free admission for all children (17 and younger) with one paid adult admission throughout the month of April for the Megolodon shark exhibit.

Night of Jazz with Cody McDafferty: Latin Jazz, Friday, April 12, 6:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

Immerse yourself in the world of Latin jazz and join Cody McCafferty for an unforgettable evening where soulful melodies blend with the vibrant spirit of Latin rhythms. Between these melodies, the Museum Curator of History, Zach Zacharias, will take you on a journey through Cuban history and art. Museum doors open at 5:30pm. Open seating in the auditorium. Cash bar and snacks available. Admission: $35 for members, $40 for non-members.

Space Day on Saturday, April 13 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Space Day is the museum’s biggest celestial event of the year, celebrating all things space in an engaging and interactive environment for the whole family. Learn about the science, exploration, and beauty of space through exciting lectures, shows in the Lohman Planetarium, hands-on activities, and solar observing with telescopes in the front entrance courtyard (weather permitting). The event is free for members or with paid museum admission.

Talk and Walk: Megalodon: Largest Shark That Ever Lived, April 23, 2:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Join Senior Curator of History, Zach Zacharias at the Museum of Arts & Sciences to learn about the largest shark that ever lived, the MEGALODON! Sharks have been around for hundreds of millions of years, with over 375 species living today. Discover the evolutionary history of sharks, their behavior, diet, and adaptations. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. If registration is full, please call the Museum at 386-255-0285 to be placed on a waitlist with the potential for another time to be scheduled.
