Crash claims life of bicyclist on Ridgewood Avenue in Port Orange.

On Monday, September 26, 2022, just before 10 a.m., the Port Orange Police Department responded to the area of 5145 Ridgewood Avenue regarding a motor vehicle crash with injuries involving a bicyclist.
According to a release, the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity will not be released until next of kin has been notified. The driver involved in the crash had no reported injuries. The Traffic Homicide Unit with the Port Orange Police Department is investigating.
