Back in November of 2019, the City of Port Orange indefinitely shut down the use of their online utility billing and business tax payment system, Click2Gov, due to possible security concerns and protocols that did not meet the standards and expectations of Port Orange.

Now the city is introducing its new online payment platform, Paymentus, a premier provider of innovative, reliable, and secure electronic bill presentment and payment services for more than 1500 clients leading the Utility, Insurance, Consumer Finance, Health, and Government industries.

The eBilling and Payment Platform allows our clients to provide a unified customer bill-pay experience that includes online, mobile, IVR, text, kiosk, and agent-assisted channels, as well as a full range of customer communication options.

"We're excited to launch this new payment system for our utility customers," said Dr. Scott Neils, Finance Director, and Chief Financial Officer for the City of Port Orange, according to a release from the city. "We recognize that customers want flexibility, accessibility, convenience, and a user-friendly experience without sacrificing security and we are pleased to be able to provide this platform for them.”

The benefits of Paymentus include a Pay Now feature that allows for quick payment without having to register an account. A customer portal will also be coming soon that will provide viewing payment history and past billing statements a well as saving payment methods and enrolling in autopay.

More Convenient Ways to Pay include:
