School Way Café, an entity of Volusia County Schools, will be providing meals to children at no charge through the USDA Summer Food Service Program and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Due to the gap between the end of the regular school year and the start of Summer School Programs, Volusia County Schools curbside meal sites will offer meal bundles on Tuesday, June 8th, between 6:30 and 7 a.m.

The Summer Food Service is a service that will be providing meals through a weekly curbside service at 12 sites throughout Volusia County. The meals are free, bundled with five breakfasts and five lunches, and are available to any child under the age of 18.

The Summer Food Service sites will begin operating from June 14th to July 29th.

Registration is required, and sign-ups will be open from June 1st to June 3rd for the gap week. The form can be found here and is also available on the VCS website

homepage.

Students attending Summer School Programs in-person will receive their meals free of charge at the school. For children not participating in the Summer School Programs, families may register weekly for the free curbside meal service.

The following schools will be offering the weekly curbside meal service:

-Chisholm Elementary

-Discovery Elementary

-Edgewater Public School

-George W. Marks Elementary

-Orange City Elementary

-Osteen Elementary

-Spruce Creek Elementary
