Police Seeking Subject for Battery on a Juvenile

Port Orange, FL - The Port Orange Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating a subject wanted in connection with a crime against a child under the age of 18. 

POPD Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 64-year-old Dana Gaye Vance for Sexual Battery involving a 16-year-old juvenile. 

“Anyone who sees Dana Gaye Vance, or knows of his whereabouts, is instructed not to approach, contact or confront him.  Please simply call 9-1-1 to provide his location or direction of travel,” according to a police department release. “If you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477) or you can text your tip by texting “TIP231” plus your message to CRIMES (274637). We don’t want your name; just your information and you could be eligible for a reward up to $5,000.”
